When a blocked drain is more complex than typical problems such as drains clogged with a build up of scale or fat, a cctv drain survey will help analyse and plan a solution. Our Anerley drain surveys will often find problems such as a collapsed drain or a wedged solid object.
With the exact position of the drainage problem our qualified and professional drain cleaners can solve the issue with little disturbance to your domestic or commercial property.
Drain Rods
Our first port of call for unblocking drains is the drainage rod. This is a semi-flexible metal rod that is inserted into the problem pipe, and is designed to puncture a blockage membrane, so that water flows past, carrying the rest of the blockage with it. This is unsuitable for clearing blockages that are some distance from the inspection hatch, as the rod has a limited range.
